About
Fenro is an independent Australian data journalism site. Every article is built on primary government sources — the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Australian Tax Office, Fair Work Australia, Services Australia, and the Department of Home Affairs.
Fenro does not publish opinions, tips, predictions, or financial advice. It publishes data, explained clearly.
Who Writes It
Fenro is written by Shubham Bhardwaj, a Sydney-based writer with firsthand experience navigating Australia’s migration system, tax obligations, and cost of living pressures. I went through the Australian migration system myself — including a Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate visa application. I work in retail management in Sydney, giving me a ground-level view of wages, award rates and cost pressures that official data alone doesn’t capture. I’ve also managed my own tax obligations as a sole trader under ATO rules.
How Fenro Researches
Every article cites its primary source. If a claim cannot be traced to an ABS release, an RBA statement, an ATO publication, a Fair Work determination, or another named government dataset, it does not appear on Fenro.
Data is verified at the time of publication. Where data changes — such as RBA rate decisions or ABS CPI releases — articles are updated and marked with the updated date.
What Fenro Is Not
Fenro is not a financial adviser. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, legal, migration, or tax advice. Readers should verify all information with the relevant authority and consult a licensed professional for advice specific to their circumstances. You can find a licensed financial adviser at moneysmart.gov.au.
